"It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade."

March is finally here! I'm excited for the upcoming Spring season and am loving all the sherbet colors, floral prints, lace, and neutrals that I've been seeing in all the clothing shops. I'm also getting anxious for warmer weather. Lately, the weather in L.A. has been mirroring the weather in London. I can't wait until I can go outside without having to worry about the frigid cold wind or unexpected rain showers.

Current Favorites

I can't get enough of the Satchel trend. I've always liked messenger bags, but these are even better. They're the perfect size for carrying around your things and never go out of style. The traveling satchel from ModCloth even has a matching wallet and other cute accessories.

"I go to seek a Great Perhaps"

After months of keeping my thoughts bottled up inside, I've decided to try my best and write more often. It is a promise I have made to myself countless times but have never faithfully kept. Whenever I look back at my experiences, I always regret not being able to capture my memories and experiences through writing, especially when I studied abroad in London, which is probably the most exciting and interesting thing that has ever happened to me. I think the biggest obstacle I face in writing is myself. I am my own worst enemy. A perfectionist. A critic. I am the only person standing in the way of my own creative self-expression.

Ever since I graduated college, everyone has asked me what do I want to do in life. While I don't know the precise answer to this question (I mean, does anyone ever truly know?), I do know one thing. I want to write. Write what exactly? That, I'm afraid, is something I'm still trying to figure out. But for now, at least, I will write about anything and everything that comes to mind.

A few words and images of inspiration (for anyone else struggling to find their inner voice):

"You must write every single day of your life… You must lurk in libraries and climb the stacks like ladders to sniff books like perfumes and wear books like hats upon your crazy heads… may you be in love every day for the next 20,000 days. And out of that love, remake a world."
--Ray Bradbury

"I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world."
--Albert Einstein

"They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself."
--Andy Warhol
